Have you ever noticed the Operations authentication dropdown shows your vCenter integrations?

You'll notice Local Users, a Microsoft Active Directory Domain, and vCenters in my lab. But what does authenticating via these vCenter options mean? It means that you'll only be able to see objects from those particular vCenters once in, which can be confusing, so I'd like to disable them.

Go to Administration - Global Settings - User Access and adjust these two settings.

The top one will turn off the ability to authenticate via a single vCenter and see only its objects. The third one down will turn off the ability to authenticate via a single vCenter and see objects from all vCenters. Keep in mind that when authenticating via vCenter you will only see vSphere objects too, another reason to disable these.

I've disabled mine and now users will only have the option to authenticate locally or via Microsoft Active Directory. Login Messages can also help users navigate logins, hope this was helpful!
